The 12" head was originally produced by Safetran before the molds were aquired or liscensed by ICC and modified to produce ICC branded signals.

There were at least two styles of 16" pedestrian heads made. The older style was a bimodal DONT WALK sign, with red lighting for the dismissive phase and white or green lighting for the permissive phase.

The newer style went to a more unique configuration with one section for DONT WALK in Portland Orange and a seperate section with WALK in Lunar White.

Later as international accomodations became more of a priority ICC adapted their signals to vertical divisibility with a Hand on the left and a Man on the right.
